Welcome to the online Values-Driven Work assessment. This assessment will help clarify what you value in a job.

Values are the ideals and principles that give meaning to your life, and play an important part in determining how satisfied you are with the work you do. If your work activities and environment are not in sync with your values, or maybe even contrary to them, your life can be less fulfilling. When your work is in tune with your values, your life feels rewarding and enriched.

Values-Driven Work will help you determine which values are most important to you. You will have the opportunity to assess your values in four key areas:

Intrinsic Values (those of core importance to you)
Work Environment (what you value in your work surroundings)
Work Content (what you like and need to do)
Work Relationships (your interactions with colleagues)

You can use the results from this assessment, along with the results of others like the Strong Interest Inventory or MBTI, to measure your work satisfaction and understand better how to improve it. While we recommend you follow-up your assessment with a career counselor to get more detailed interpretation/explanation, it is not required.
