NOVA Connects Youth With Jobs

NOVA’s Youth@Work program links youth seeking employment opportunities with companies that are hiring throughout Santa Clara County. It provides personalized employment assistance and job listings as well as an information-rich environment for youth to learn about career options.

Anyone interested in Youth@Work can log on to www.youthatwork.org and select one or more jobs in the Web site's list of job openings, then a call to the NOVA Youth Employment Office at 408-730-7640, will enable you to attend a pre-employment workshop and schedule an appointment with a career advisor.

For employers, listing jobs on Youth@Work provides easy access to job candidates and eliminates advertising costs. Youth@Work ensures that only the most qualified youth are referred to each job. Companies may also list internships, apprenticeships, volunteer and mentoring opportunities.

NOVA's youth services also offer additional support to individuals, aged 16–21, needing career and educational guidance. NOVA helps youth make and meet career and educational goals with the assistance of a career advisor. The advisor provides one-on-one career coaching and assistance with financial obligations related to being successful in school or on the job. For more information on these and other services, or to list a job opening on the Youth@Work Web site, please contact NOVA's Youth Employment Office at 408-730-7640, or visit www.youthatwork.org. You can also visit 505 West Olive Avenue, Suite 330, near the Sunnyvale Public Library. NOVA is your first step in opening the door to the world of work.
