NOVA has services available at no cost to the general public, as well as additional no-fee services available to those who meet certain eligibility requirements. You may also be eligible to receive re-employment services at no charge if your former employer is participating in NOVA’s Rapid Response program.

CONNECT! Job Seeker Center

CONNECT! is a good place to start. NOVA co-sponsors this comprehensive self-help center, a collaborative of over 30 workforce development agencies. Here you'll find the tools you need for a successful job search.

Just drop on by 420 S. Pastoria Avenue, in the EDD building (adjacent to NOVA’s Sunnyvale offices)—no appointment is necessary. For more information, call the CONNECT! Job Seeker Center at 408-774-2365.

NOVA programs

You may be eligible to enroll to receive specialized services from NOVA. NOVA has programs targeted to help laid-off workers, low-income workers, displaced homemakers, the disabled, seniors, youth, and veterans.

Programs include:

• Professional Effectiveness Program (PEP): Interpersonal-skills training
• ProMatch: Professional networking organization 
• Proven People: Resources and referrals for job seekers aged 50 and older
• Youth@Work: Resources and referrals for youth aged 16 to 24
