NOVA Summer Youth Employment Program

Could you use some extra free help around your office this summer?

Would you be willing to train an eager youth to give them the necessary skills to be a contributing member of society?

If your answer is yes to either of these questsions, please read on to learn more about our award-winning youth program.

The NOVA Summer Youth Employment Program is a subsidized summer youth work experience program for 16–21 year olds, providing many local youth with their first work experience. The program creates an opportunity for participating youth to learn about the requirements and responsibilities of employment while developing the work ethic and character traits necessary for their future success.

We are currently recruiting employers to participate in this great opportunity.

This summer the program will run from June 23–August 8. The youth will be at your worksite for 16–24 hours per week and at NOVA for an additional six hours each week for training in computer literacy, basic job skills, and career planning.

If you are interested in partcipating in the program please click the button below or contact Kathie DeHart at 408-730-7232.
