First Annual State of the Valley Conference
January 20, 2006Joint Venture Silicon Valley Network is hosting the First Annual State of the Valley Conference on Friday, January 20, 2006, at Parkside Hall, 180 Park Avenue, in San Jose, adjacent to the Tech Museum of Innovation. The $60 admission charge covers a continental breakfast, luncheon, and copy of Joint Venture's 2006 Silicon Valley Index. Register by January 16, 2006.
The morning program includes a briefing on the 2006 Silicon Valley Index, a CEO panel discussion, and a keynote address on "Our Troubled Health Care System: An Opportunity and Obligation for Silicon Valley" by Richard Levy, president and CEO of Varian Medical Systems.
The program continues in the afternoon with a university presidents panel discussion, the AMD Silicon Valley Leaders Luncheon with a keynote address given by the Honorable Leon Panetta, and the 2006 David Packard Civic Entrepreneur Award Presentation to Bruce Chizen, CEO of Adobe Systems, Inc.
