NOVA releases labor market study – Silicon Valley: A Small Business Perspective

Released December 5, 2006, at a community forum held at the NASA Ames Research Center, NOVA's latest labor market study, Silicon Valley: A Small Business Perspective, analyzes small businesses and startups with 5–99 employees selling high-technology products or services. The study's purpose was to uncover the issues and challenges affecting small businesses in Silicon Valley. The report was prepared in collaboration with the Workforce Investment Boards of Santa Clara and San Mateo counties.

In addition to the findings of this nine-month study, the report also provides a resource guide providing information on hundreds of resources available to small businesses.
